Disaster??!!

Yeah, so it's mighty hot in Austin lately. And I often crack my car windows. And we had a freak monsoon the other day, wherein my sketchbook that is often left in the passenger seat took the brunt of it.

I tried to dry it out and repair it best I could, but things after water damage are never the same. It's a little wonky now and kinda warped, but may be good enough to fill out when I can. Still got plenty of pages to show both pre-and post dampness, which I hope you'll still be able to enjoy.

One for the Road

Close combat is not exactly the best strategy when facing the undead... but know getting too close to this spitfire invites a Chuck Taylor roundkick that'll send a Zed head to the freakin' moon.

Oh... all out of gum.

The Zombie Apaocalypse is starting to look like a pirate ship. Luckily I know a couple o' ladies that can kick ass and chew bubble gum.

It's cold. Dead cold.

I don't know why, exactly, but I'm pretty sure the Zombie Apocalypse will require us to dress in layers.

It so happens I'm the only person at Cup Doodle who knows each of our stalwart Doodlers individually (we're split between the Bay Area and Austin), so I took the opportunity to whip up some quickie character designs. Because if anyone is going to tough it out once the dead start to walk the Earth, it's us.

Can the rest of you guess who is who???

How will you survive the Zombie Apocalypse?

Inspired by a conversation Eric and I had a couple weeks ago at work. What will you do when the inevitable Zombie Apocalypse hits?

Sunday Quickie

This was a 10 minute Wacom sketch. Still weird drawing with the stylus for figures, trying to get the "invisible drawing" hand-eye coordination with the screen. I see proportional problems.

Aquaman

Just backtracking on previous themes. I'll be caught up soon, hopefully.
