Yes the little dachshund was a source of entertainment.

... mostly I was fooling around with tidbits provided by the surrounding clientele.

SKETCHGRÜP doodles

This here's a truck. I can't decide between buying a late 60's/early 70's era van or truck. After a brief discussion with Josh I'm leaning towards a van, because trucks don't have much wizard mural space.

This here's a dog that kind of looks like the dog at the coffee shop, and a monster that looks mostly like the one that was in my head.

This here was the view from my particular side of the table. You'll note the distinct lack of Billy anywhere in the frame. Heyo!

Shenanigans

Just another day at the studio...

Peeps,

Bear with me now! I’d like to gauge the interest level in a Cupdoodle sketchgrüp. Imagine for a moment:

- All doodles made at the sketchgrüp can be scanned together and posted over the weekend
- No more needling guilt about not keeping up the doodling chops
- Convenient excuse to drink and draw
- Eric will never hound you again about drawing for Cupdoodle

It’s a win/win! Would anybody have time/energy to join?

My Wacom is busted at home so I don’t draw anymore. And by busted, I mean lines aren’t smooth even with smoothing turned on. My tears won’t stop running still.

Oh, I don’t have a laptop either. So once I have these things resolved, I’d be happy to rain on this parade.

Best I can do without a Wacom:

(That’s me btw. Notice the highlighted tips)

sketchbook

Took Autodesk Sketchbook for a drive. Did my own concept car after watching the demo video. Great responsiveness - too bad there's no canvas rotate. Only right angles. :(

Baby Tinkerbell Tattoo

So I was asked to come up with a "Baby Tinkerbell" tattoo for someone I know, and here's the result. The original request was for her to be a baby in diapers, tho I did want to provide the option of Tinkerbell's traditional costume as well. I wonder which one she'll choose?

Drawn in pencil, but digitally inked in Manga Studio.

Here's a quickie mockup of what it might look like colored on skin:
