Foliage Beast 2

I went back to this pencil sketch to tighten things up a bit. I also decided to change the head. That animal skull really adds a unique quality to the overall design, I think. There's nothing wrong with going back to an illustration and changing things around. That's what erasers are for, right?

Comparing the new results with the previous rendering I think I'm on the right track to a really neat illustration. The next steps: the tail and wings. Stay tuned.
